The client

Based in Paris, TIPTOE is a design studio redefining what sustainable furniture can look and feel like.

Their commitment to responsible production and timeless design sets them apart in an industry often dominated by fast and disposable trends. With a deep respect for materials—whether recycled metals, reclaimed wood, or innovative textiles—TIPTOE creates objects that are beautiful, useful, and made to last.
During Salone del Mobile in Milan, I had the opportunity to photograph their work and translate their bold, thoughtful vision into images that reflect the brand’s unique approach to design, function, and sustainability.

The Photographer's Approach

For TIPTOE’s presence at Salone del Mobile, my focus was on translating the brand’s strong commitment to sustainability and timeless design into visual storytelling.
Rather than simply documenting the products, I aimed to reflect the values embedded in each piece—the raw honesty of the materials, the precision of European craftsmanship, and the clarity of TIPTOE’s aesthetic language.

The lighting, composition, and mood were carefully considered to echo the brand’s modern yet grounded identity.
It was important to show the furniture not just as objects, but as part of a larger, thoughtful philosophy—one that challenges wasteful design norms and redefines what “better furniture” truly means.

The Client's Vision

For the Salone del Mobile photoshoot, TIPTOE wanted to share what really drives them—their passion for creating beautiful, sustainable furniture that lasts a lifetime.

They believe in doing things differently: using recycled and responsibly sourced materials, focusing on quality and timeless design, and always keeping the environment in mind.
My goal as a photographer was to show how their pieces aren’t just practical and well-made, but also full of character and care. Through the photos, TIPTOE hoped to capture the warmth and thoughtfulness behind their work, reflecting a brand that’s as committed to people and the planet as it is to great design.
