The client
Papadatos S.A. is a design and manufacturing group that began in 1990 by Georgios and Nasos Papadatos.
Originally the company established iteself as a sofa producing firm, however very soon successfully expanded its activities into more fields.
Papadatos returned to the global stage of Salone del Mobile with a striking presence at this year’s edition of the fair, held from April 8th to 13th in Milan.
The Photographer's Approach
Papadatos has been one of my favourite brands to work with to date. I approached them with the wish to photograph their products at this year's Salone Del Mobile and they were happy to trust me with this important task.
The pavilion, designed and coordinated by Rena Mania, featured three expansive living rooms and an outdoor area, creating a warm, grounded atmosphere.
The focus of the photoshoot was the newly introduced pieces of new product families, as well as pieces of previous collections in new textile finishes and contemporary tones.
The brand's dedication to craftsmanship and quality is what shines through the collection once again. The shapes, forms and materials were very important for me to capture in a way that their quality was portrayed correctly to their international audience.
The Client's Vision
For this photoshoot, the brand wanted to express what Papadatos truly stands for — timeless elegance, honest materials, and the feeling of home, no matter where in the world.
Every piece created carries a story of craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and the people behind it.
The vision was to capture that quiet confidence — the warmth of a space that feels lived in, the beauty of simplicity, and the subtle luxury that comes from doing things with care.
Papadatos believes design is deeply personal, and through these images, aimed to share not just furniture, but the philosophy and heart behind it.
