The client
The owners of the property bought an old traditional village house a couple of years ago and proceeded with a complete renovation to turn it into their dream summer house in the centre of Koroni in southwest Peloponnese.
With a beautiful open courtyard, comfortable bedrooms and views of the harbour of Koroni from its cozy living room, this is a unique and authentic property.
The Photographer's Approach
The owners of the property decided to rent it out as a holiday home.
For this reason, I was brought in to ensure the property was portrayed and photographed at its best for the rental market.
It was important to capture the carefully picked out decorative elements along with wide angled photographs of all the rooms to make future visitors fall in love with the style of the place.
I loved that the house gave the feeling of a Greek island with wonderful Aegean blue decorations mixed with carefully selected wooden fittings.
Additionally, the property is also incredibly well furnished, making guests feel like they're stepping into a family home when they arrive.
The Client's Vision
The owners wanted to create a home away from home and a quiet space in the middle of Koroni town that felt welcoming to all.
Their choice of clean lines and simple design perfectly matched the traditional building. A truly unique and welcoming summer home.
